This is a mixed blog, or perhaps, a mixed-up blog. I love to eat good food but I don’t have the bank to eat in good restaurants. So I taught myself how to cook. A part of this blog will talk about food. That is the “fork” in my blog title. The “trowel” is my passion for the the environment as it relates to gardens. I teach Integrated Pest Management, as well as many other courses in the Horticulture department at Foothill College. The trowel will be about environmental issues and their relationship to your garden.
